D&L Machine Company and Affiliates (“D&L”) is a leading manufacturer of machined parts and custom machinery & equipment with a specialization in automated welding machinery for the lift and crane manufacturing markets. MelCap Partners, LLC served as D&L’s exclusive investment banker and financial advisor in the sale of the business. In an effort to provide the shareholders with liquidity, to continue to support the Company’s strategic growth plans, and to provide its customers with continued high-quality products, MelCap was able to successfully identify the most logical buyer for the business. As a result, D&L was sold to Summit Machine Solutions, Inc, a newly formed entity created by a local private investment group with experience in machining and machinery building.
