On 1 September 2026, IDAK Food Group (IDAK) and Invision AG (Invision) announced a transaction under which Invision will acquire a majority stake in KADI, the leading Swiss manufacturer of premium frozen food products, particularly French fries, potato specialities and snacks. LGT Capital Partners and SAGA Private Equity will participate as co-investors alongside KADI’s management team led by CEO Yvonne Richard. Going forward, IDAK will focus on the production of high-quality bakery products. KADI’s transition to Invision will take place under the leadership of its existing management team, while Christof Lehmann, former Group CEO of IDAK, will become Chairman of KADI in addition to his role on the Board of Directors of IDAK.
Christof Lehmann, Board Member of IDAK and Chairman of KADI: “I am pleased to accompany KADI in its next phase of development and to contribute my experience. IFBC provided the management team of KADI with highly professional advice as an independent M&A advisor throughout this transaction.”
Earlier this year, IDAK acquired the Toulouse-based Onoré Group. The acquisition significantly expanded the Bakery & Patisserie business of IDAK Food Group, which specialises in premium frozen food. IDAK has now decided to focus its strategy exclusively on the production of high-quality bakery products, comprising the two complementary categories Bakery & Patisserie and Pizza & Pizza Snacks.
