On 27 August 2026, Isochronic and Bystronic announced a transaction under which the two companies entered into an agreement for Bystronic to acquire Isochronic AG. The Swiss automation company specialises in high-speed robotic systems and software for sheet metal processing. The acquisition expands Bystronic’s automation portfolio and strengthens its strategic focus on integrated manufacturing solutions that address customers’ increasing requirements for productivity, flexibility and efficiency. Isochronic will continue to operate in the market under its own name.

The combination of the two companies will accelerate the development of the next generation of automation solutions and further strengthen Bystronic’s offering for customers operating highly automated production environments.
