The Swedish fund company Cicero Fonder acquires the fund company Aktieinvest Fonder (Aktieinvest “the Company”) from the Swedish Shareholder’s Association (Aktiespararna). Aktieinvest currently manages two equity funds: Aktieinvest Topp Sverige (launched in 1999 and tracks OMXS30) and Aktieinvest Direktavkastning (launched in 2016 and tracks SIXDIV15SWGI). The Company has approximately three billion SEK in assets under management and three employees. In connection with the transaction a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Aktiespararna and Cicero that will give (among other things) lower fund charges for members of Aktiespararna.
