enalpin AG (enalpin) is acquiring bacher + schmidt ELEKTRO AG, which has locations in Münster, Visp, and Stalden. With this move, enalpin is strengthening its expertise in electrical engineering and expanding its offerings to include electrical installations and services related to modern energy and electrical solutions for infrastructure and buildings.
With the integration of bacher + schmidt ELEKTRO AG, enalpin is consistently pursuing its strategic development as an energy service provider in the regions of Visp, Goms, and the Saas and Matter valleys – areas that are already of key importance to enalpin.
The decarbonization of buildings and mobility, as well as the ongoing electrification of industry, heating, and transportation, are increasingly shifting the focus of the energy transition toward the infrastructure and building sectors. In addition to renewable energy production, smart energy solutions are becoming increasingly important.
Martin Gattlen, CEO of enalpin: „The future of energy is no longer determined solely by electricity production, but increasingly by its intelligent use in infrastructure and buildings. With bacher + schmidt ELEKTRO AG, we are gaining a company with strong regional roots, high professional expertise, and valuable know-how.”
For the current owners – Tobias Bacher, Daniel Schmidt, and Martin Juon – the partnership also represents an important step for the company’s long-term future. „It was important to us to find a sustainable solution that offers stability while also opening up new opportunities for growth”, explain the current business owners. „In enalpin AG, we have found a strong partner that embodies the same values and is deeply rooted in the region.”
bacher + schmidt ELEKTRO AG will continue to operate under its current name. Tobias Bacher, Daniel Schmidt, and Martin Juon will also continue to lead the company’s operations, and the existing locations will remain in place.
The collaboration opens up new opportunities for both companies in the development of modern energy and building solutions, as well as in the implementation of future projects in the Upper Valais.
