LAB+ finances 4 Uruguayan scientific start-ups
Institute Pasteur Montevideo in a 50/50 partnership with FICUS Advisory, have launched a $25m venture capital fund to finance startup companies.
LAB+ Ventures, will invest in deep tech start ups in the Life Sciences sector and aims to be invested in some 15 companies in a period of some 3 years. LAB+. The fund will accompany start ups in their initial growth phases -mostly to phase 1 clinical trials- and can invest in seed rounds and Series A and B.
